Mural for Cleveland Botanical Garden

I worked with curators and educators at the Cleveland Botanical Garden to design this biomimicry-themed wall for their Perennial Playspace.

The wall depicts organisms found in the Madagascar and Costa Rica ecosystems, which are featured in the exhibit spaces adjacent to the playspace. Examples of biomimicry and information about several organisms’ unique abilities are annotated on the wall. Youth are invited to use the provided drawing boards to sketch ideas for their own inventions inspired by nature.
