Identity for Rattlesnake Creek Watershed Group
I worked with the Rattlesnake Creek Watershed Group to create a new identity system. They wanted to keep the symbolism in their original identity graphic, but it needed an update to complement a planned new website. I developed a new badge and a coordinated logo suite that highlights the Rattlesnake watershed’s familiar and unique features, including the Greenough Park Bridge.
An interesting detail for this project was ensuring that the fish was recognizable (even in stylized form) as a bull trout. They are native to these waters, and the lower stretches of the Creek and its confluence with the Clark Fork are known to the Salish as "Nłʔáyčstm", or "Place of the Small Bull Trout."
